Report/Interview Example Report/Interview – Book Report/Review Example Report Interview Report Interview I interviewed a professional nurse that holds a BSN and could be my mentor. There are various elements that make this nursing role ideal for me. To start with, it is in line with my field of study and therefore, I will be able to apply what I have learnt over the years while pursuing my degree. Secondly, the position is requires nurses to work towards patient satisfaction and delivery of quality health care to the patients (Masters, 2005). The role requires management of a give schedule as well as focus on the daily clinical duties and patient education. This role also requires application of the budgetary control and accountability skills learnt during the study (Lugton and McIntyre, 2008). The role will necessitate the important lessons that I have learnt about cultural diversity as well as challenge me to be a better nurse. The nurse believes in offering quality health care and helping parents make informed health decisions. Nursing is a stressful career that calls for emotional stability mainly when dealing with stressful events (Watson, 2008). The nurse has learnt to deal with such situations without getting personally involved. The nurse shows great empathy towards patients in pain and this reassures them. The nurse demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication with the patients as well as members of staff. The nurse also demonstrates attention to detail which ensures accuracy in administering medication. The nurse exemplifies respect of individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds. The nurse also shows timely response to emergencies and excellent problem-solving.
